Many times in our lives we have trials, storms may rage
around us, or things in our life aren't going as 'we' planned. If we trust that God will
work things out for good He will. This doesn't mean that it will be what 'we' want but
what God deems is good for us.
This past week our web server crashed - hard. This has happened before but was
always recoverable within minutes or a couple of hours. This time the site was offline
for a couple of days and email capabilities were brought to a standstill. The situation
looked bleak. We were in need of an updated web server to replace the old one. We received
what we needed and I offer thanks to those who heeded the Holy Spirit and have supplied
what was needed to keep the site up and running.
A friend told me in so many words, "You must be doing something real good because
the devil doesn't like it!" How true that is in our lives. When we are running our
race and making progress and then 'wham' something comes our way that we did not
expect it is sometimes hard to have faith that God will turn the situation around.
In this situation not only did God supply what was needed - it is better! (although
I'm sure there is a few quirks to work out…) He definitely turned this 'bad' into
'good'.
