It is that time of the year when the blossoms of Spring push
forth from the once cold ground and display a wonderful beauty. The landscape is
transformed from a dull, dingy view into a splendor of His creation.
In this season of newness, we also take up the assignment of Spring cleaning.
We clear out all those things that clutter our house, dust away the cobwebs, and
put a 'spit shine' on all that is within our homes.
Maybe we should also do this Spring cleaning with our 'spiritual house' -
our own lives. Survey those things that we ought to get rid of, clean our
own hearts and rid ourselves of the clutter and busyness that fills our days
so that we may spend more time with Our Lord.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Ephesians 4:23-24
Spring - a time for renewal...
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD
shall flourish in the courts of our God.
