My Easter Lily

There's a single lily
Which rises every year-
In my flower garden
To deliver springtime cheer!
With it's gentle fragrance,
It's a sweet reminder of
The "gift" that Jesus gave us
On the cross which speaks of Love.
I anticipate it
(Even through cold winter days)
For I know that when it blossoms,
New life is on the way!
I will always cherish
This "emblem" from above;
Display of Yahweh's GLORY
Midst a world of push-and-shove!
