When you have someone in your life, someone that knows and understands your thoughts, your dreams, your fears, and even your faults, such is a precious gift from God. God put that special person in your life because they are they only one who can fulfill the needs you have - the need to laugh, to share your tears, the need to trust, and the need to have someone you can go to when situations in your life become overwhelming. He knew when He created all of us what each would need in this life. He does not want us to wander through this life here alone - so He gives us those special ones that we can connect with - someone we can share our lives with. Although Jesus is our ultimate best friend, God still knows that we need others in our lives and what a great blessing He has given us!

We may have many who we call friends - but are they really friends or just acquaintances? You may share some parts of your life with some but for those things that are in your secret place I pray there is someone that you can share your deepest thoughts with - one who is truly your friend. This friend will uplift you in times of sorrow, cry with you, laugh with you, and love you for who you are.

If you have someone that you call friend - a special person God has blessed you with, cherish them - for they are a gift to you from God!
