Usually The Light Newsletter is sent out every two weeks. This has not been the case the past month. Due to a death in the family, my mother, it was not possible to create the newsletter. The newsletter will continue to be emailed as time allows and hopefully will return to the normal delivery within the next month. I deeply apologize.

Death - it is something that we all must face one day. Let us all make sure we are where my mother is now - with Jesus, praising God in all His glory. It was an unexpected event although she had been diagnosed with breast/lung cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. She was holding her own until pneumonia set in and was hospitalized - of which she never returned to her home with her husband of 50+ years.

I am comforted in knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior now although I miss her dearly. God is the God of all comfort - and He is my strength today, tomorrow, and days to come - and always.

For those of you reading this, my hope and prayer is that when you and your loved ones leave this world, you will take the hand of Jesus and walk with Him to the place of light and glory, where there is no sorrow, no pain, no sickness - only the joy and peace found through our savior Jesus Christ.
