I often find in my email inbox (as we all do!) those messages that
contain humor, stories, and other 'junk mail' that often find their way into the trash bin.
One particular story stood out this past week. It was only when I forwarded this particular
inspirational tidbit to a friend that the verse below came to life - as she replied back and
put the verse with the story.
When God sets out the entire creation as a science classroom, using birds and
beasts to teach wisdom. Job 35:11 The Message
This particular story is about a woman and her dog that took in an orphaned baby squirrel
and nursed it back to health. Quite amazing - the 'mother-to-be' dog cared for this creation
of God's like it was her own, even to the point of dragging the squirrels cage to her own bed.
After the dog delivered her own puppies, the squirrel fit right in with the cute little balls of
fur, snuggling and nursing in the midst of them!
How we can take a lesson from this dog - love one another, comfort, and help one another
even though we are different, even though conflicts arise, even when one can be considered
an enemy.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34 KJV
