Life has a funny way of unraveling the mysteries therein. I never knew I would come out of this shell called hurt but God has been so faithful in that He has showered me continually with His love. I pray that my testimony will help you to see Jesus as He is.

I am an African but remember asking God for someone who is not an African. The reason being I did not want to bring up my children in a manner that they only know their people. I am tired of the racism and tribalism that is around the world and even affecting those who God had called. Ths was a very genuine prayer and I believe that God will answer me in due course of time.

First my friend who I loved very much and who was kind to me died of a road accident. I thought he was the one for me. God didn't. It took me months to let go of this pain. God gave me someone else but this also did not work.

Later on, I met a wonderful man of God. According to me, he was a godly man who loved God very much. We would pray and discuss about God. We would love God so much that it was evident that God was in our relationship and I knew I had found the right man for my life. He later started to cheat on me and sleep around. I still loved him. I went out with him for three years and nothing came out. It was now my turn to ask God why all this happened.

God knows best. He has taught me never to judge someone by my human standards because maybe the guy was struggling with past sin in his life. He has a hunger for God and my prayer is that He gets to know God in an amazing way.

I am focusing on what God has called me to do. I am in a children's ministry back in church and love children a lot. I need to see God a lot in my life. I know He will answewr my prayers. I have a friend whom I love very much. He had an accident which led him to the Lord. He is still struggling with past sin but loves the Lord very much. All the time I hear from him, my heart grows fonder. My question to God is, is he really the one for me? I have learned to love everyone regardless of where they come from and their status in life. God has taught me to look at the heart.

I am now focusing fully on God and waiting upon Him as I continue with His work and trust Him that I will get a man who is after God's own heart because I get lonely at times. He knows best and He will act.

Whatever you go through in life, just remember, the Lord has a good reason and in one way or another you are maturing up spiritually and look at life in the most positive way.
