We Need Your Strength
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."
King James Version
Heavenly Father, we confess that there are times when we become discouraged and weak. We need Your strength. Thank You that no matter how many obstacles and heartaches come our way, You will keep us in perfect peace if we will only trust You and keep our minds and hearts focused on You. Father, I pray for everyone who is lonely, heartbroken, discouraged and suicidal. Please comfort them and encourage them as only You can. Amen.
No matter what is going on in your life today, Jesus is more than able to bring you through every problem victoriously. Is your mind stayed on Jesus? Are you trusting Him no matter what happens? Jesus is not like some friends. He stays with us when things get tough. In fact, the more problems and heartaches that we encounter, the more Jesus works to show Himself strong in our behalf. What a Saviour! What a friend, this Jesus of Nazareth! There is no one like Jesus. No one loves you like He loves you.
If there has never been a time in your life when you humbled yourself, admitted that you are a sinner, repented of your sins, asked God to forgive you for your sins and invited the Christ of Calvary into your heart to be your personal Saviour, I urge you; I plead with you to say “yes” to Jesus right now. You may not have another day or even another hour to live. Don’t miss out on spending eternity with the One who loves you so much that He allowed them to crucify Him on a cruel cross of horror and excruciating pain for you.
Going to church will not save you. Being baptized will not save you. Praying for others will not save you. Doing good works or giving all your money to charities will not save you. It is only when the precious blood of Jesus is applied to your heart for the forgiveness of your sins that you are saved. Have you made your reservation for Heaven? If not, open the door of your heart and invite Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour. You will have a peace, a joy and a happiness that you have never known. He will never leave you, not even for one minute.
When you feel like you can’t take another step, He will lift you up in His arms of compassion. He will be faithful to carry you through the dark valleys of your life. He will set you once again on the mountain tops of joy, peace, happiness and excitement. No matter how many times satan hurls his vicious poisonous darts at you; Jesus will be there to remove the darts. He will apply His soothing ointment of understanding, compassion and tenderness to your broken heart. Jesus really does love you. He proved His love for you when He died for you. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us so much that You died for our sins. Amen.
